The Delhi Public School organised the ROBOFEST (10th & 11th August) a 2 day annual robotics event, wherein teams from 10 different schools learnt to build robots and subsequently competed to solve a challenge that employed the concept of Robotics. The system was based on the LEGO Mind storms series of Kits that included an intelligent brick computer that controlled the system, a set of modular sensors and motors and LEGO parts from the technic line to create the mechanical systems.

The Tribhuvan School also participated in the event. The participating students were Priyanshu of class VIII A, Saksham of VIII B and Saumya of class VI C. They not only built the robot but also completed the challenge and were awarded the second runner up amongst all the schools. The Vice Principal Mrs. Archana Raj congratulated the students and appreciated the efforts of Mr. Abhinandan for being their guide and mentor. She said that the competition helped the students build computer programmes robots to act independently. It encouraged the students to learn the principals of science, technology, engineering and mathematics by focusing on computer programming.
