Yoga is a powerful natural state that can inspire us in many ways and all the health challenges can be won over through regular yoga practice. Keeping this holistic approach to health and well-being in mind, The Tribhuvan School, Patna organised “Yoga Session” for the students, teaching and non-teaching staff to celebrate the momentous event of International Yoga Day on the school campus on 21" June, 2018. Various Yoga "Asanas" were demonstrated before the staff.
Almost 100 teaching faculty and 120 non-teaching staff took part in the event with enthusiasm and great vigour. The Yoga Session started with prayer and systematic practice of various asanas of sitting, standing and laying positions.
All were overwhelmed to know the amazing and natural benefits of Yoga. Active participation was observed with a lot of excitement and enthusiasm in the air.
Speaking on the occasion Mrs. Mahua Das Gupta, the Principal threw light on the holistic benefits of Yoga and conveyed the message that Yoga is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and the nature. The session concluded on a positive note.
