Taru Mahotsav

Greening the environment

Our environment is the greatest gift of Mother Nature to us. A clean environment is vital to have a peaceful and healthy life. But because of negligence of human beings we have put our nature in a dangerous threshold. In order to make the generations to come more sensitive and concerned about their environment as well as to reinforce positive attitude towards preserving the mother earth and as per CBSE circular the Eco club of The Tribhuvan School, Patna organised "Taru Mahotsav”- A Plantation Drive on 20th Aug, 2018 in association with Forestry Department.

The students from classes 6 to 10 participated in the plantation drive with great zeal and enthusiasm. Students planted around 20 saplings in and around the school premises and thoroughly enjoyed the planting process. Each sapling was given a unique name of a martyr for proper identification and personal touch. They carried placards and slogans such as Go Green, Each One Plant One and Save Earth in order to sensitise people about the dire need to save and conserve fauna and cherish the life bestowed by mother earth. This plantation drive brought the students closer to the environment.

The principal, Mahua Das Gupta addressed the students urging them to adopt small steps on regular basis to protect our environment for future generation.
