Investiture Ceremony

The official ceremony of conferring titles and investing powers to the members of the student council was organized at the Investiture ceremony on 24th October 2019.

At 09:00 a.m. with the graceful presence of the Shri Gupteshwar Pandey IPS Officer, DGP, Bihar began the most prestigious and the eagerly awaited occasion of the school - "The Investiture Ceremony”. It was attended by all the parents of the newly selected student council members.

The Chief Guest was welcomed and felicitated with a bouquet and a token of appreciation by the honorable Principal Mrs. Mahua Das Gupta which was followed by the lighting of the lamp with a recitation of Shloka.

An inspirational and motivational song "Aao mil kar haath badhaye" by the Choir group gave a kick start to the function. Then we had our school's dance troupe performing 'on the pious, solemn rhythm of "Guru Vandana" to provide honor to our teachers for imparting knowledge and wisdom.

The Principal welcomed and addressed the audience with words of leadership and good qualities needed for becoming a good leader. She urged the students to take this opportunity as a stepping stone to hone their leadership skills, shoulder their responsibilities and be accountable for their actions and word.

The delegates of the newly appointed students' council then marched forward with utmost grace to take up special responsibilities and lead the school confidently in all its endeavors.

The esteemed guest Shri Pandey and the Principal did the honors of pinning the sashes and badges and vested the student appointees with authority and responsibilities.

The Principal conducted the Oath for the students' allegiance towards the institution and being dutiful in their day to day activities.

The ceremony was further enhanced with the school song by Choir followed by an enriching "Yoga performance" which displayed the importance of yoga to control an individual's mind, body, and soul.

The audience was enthralled by a rhythmic and refreshing "Dance performance" on "Discipline in School and life."

The Chief Guest then addressed the crowd by his words of wisdom and congratulated the school management, teachers and students. He stressed on the fact that getting high marks should not be the ultimate goal instead to remain passionate and not to lose one's integrity was important. He also urged the students to remain positive and let their dream scare them enough to inspire them to achieve their goals. He also enlightened them by stating that they have to be role models to their peer groups.

Mrs. Babita Vatsragi, our Senior Coordinator proposed the vote of thanks and the function was concluded by paying homage to our country with the National Anthem.
