Eco- Friendly Holi

Awareness campaign to celebrate Eco- Friendly Holi by the students of The Tribhuvan School in an association with Tarumitra.

 

The Tribhuvan School took up the initiative towards making this Holi harmless and Eco –Friendly.  A three-day campaign from March 4th to March 6th was organized by the school. Through the ‘Nukkad Natak’ the young Tribhunites of Grade I and II brought to light the environmental impacts of celebrating Holi with colors that are being sold in the market.

Showing concerns towards the environment and mother earth the children stepped forward to sensitize and educate the people of Patna and demonstrated how to create natural colors with Hibiscus, Marigold, several other blossoms, Mehndi leaves trees barks, etc. and other raw material found in the kitchen that makes the brilliant shades of Holi colors were made.

The young students mesmerized the public by their performance. The objective of this campaign was to make children sensitive towards the environment and take up the responsibility to safeguard the environment.

This event is the culmination of our school theme of “Clean City – Green City” for 2019-20. It has been given its true form by the Principal of the School, Mrs.Mahua Das Gupta. The event got its colorful flair by RJSurbhiand the coordinator of Tarumitra Debopriya.
