Independence Day Virtual Celebration

FLAVOUR OF PATRIOTISM AT THE TRIBHUVAN SCHOOL, PATNA

“Thousands laid down their lives so that our country can celebrate this day.”

The students of The Tribhuvan School from Standards Nursery right up to the XII presented an enchanting program truly patriotic in flavor and fervor on the zoom platform accommodating students, parents, and well-wishers from far and wide.

The auspicious day started with the traditional flag hoisting and the National Anthem. The principal and a guiding force for the institution Ms. Mahua Das Gupta through her inspiring words spoke of the essence of patriotism. This was followed by the encouraging words from Mr. N. K. Singh the Chairman of the esteemed institution who appreciated teachers for the adaptability and ability to improve themselves to suit the needs and challenges of the time as a very important instrument of change.

A widespread of programs which ranged from a speech by toddlers, character dramatization of freedom fighters, instrumental presentation, group song to dance was presented each spreading vibes of patriotism and freedom.

The Tableau presentation on the famous Sahid Smarak of Patna deserves special mention. It was a piece conceptualized, created and presented so beautifully which transported the audience to the past reminding of an incident not known to many.

For the students of The Tribhuvan, it is not a day’s celebration but they all had been participating in various activities and competitions throughout the week under the name “Jashn- e Aazadi’ which in various ways inculcated and imbibed in them a commitment towards their country and also the fellow countrymen.

The success of the program was evident from the active participation and appreciation from the parents.
