"Teacher’s Day: Bestowing Honour to Dr. Radhakrishnan" 

“True teachers are those who help us think ourselves” Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan

Every year we gather on 5th September, to celebrate Teachers’ Day Students to express our gratitude and appreciation for our teachers on this day. This day is dedicated to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan – second President of India. The great academic philosopher, and one of the most well-known diplomats, scholar, president of India and above all a teacher. As a tribute to this great teacher, his birthday has been observed as teachers' day. 

There was an unusual excitement at Tribhuvan which was quite contagious. The whole school had a festive look. The celebration started by paying floral tribute to Dr. Radhakrishnan by the teachers.

There after the student council members of the school took over the charge. 
It was with pride and delight the teachers witnessed the talent of their students performing various presentations. The programme began with a Guru Vandana which was rendered tunefully and melodiously by the school choir. This was followed by the foot tapping, graceful and synchronized dancing by the students of classes VIII to XI. A short skit was also performed by the students where they imitated their teachers which left the audience in splits. The junior wing students were not far behind. They paid their homage to their teachers by singing a very melodious song “thank you teachers” and reciting a wonderful poem. A PPT presentation was done by the students to show respect towards their mentors.
Towards the end of the programme the head boy of the school delivered speech on honouring the teachers. The teachers given unique title and felicitated with lovely cards made by students.
